Master Durant is an amazing instructor and role model for the kids. This is an amazing place to teach your children self confidence and discipline. We have 4 and they all immediately responded to and respected him. He will go out of his way to help you with your kids as well. Being at that age where they like to back talk and not listen, he’s been a great resource to help combat that. The kids can’t get away with anything with him and they know it. They all love him and the other instructors, as well. Definitely recommend.

My husband and I are so thankful that we found Master Durant and the Family Martial Arts family! We signed up so our kids could learn self defense and confidence. Our daughter who used to cry anytime the spotlight was on her, is now winning medals at tournaments and helping others in class! 4 of our 5 kids are students here (5th one will start when she turns 3!) and they all love it! Master Durant understands that all kids have different personalities and learn in different ways. He is an amazing teacher.

We started going to Green Valley ATA and it has been the best decision I have made for my son.  Master Durant really cares about the kids.  I told him what was going on with my son and he took time out to talk to both of us.  When my son has a bad day, he can tell immediately when he walks in the door.  Master Durant pays attention to his needs and encourages him to do better every time. My son is now more respectful at home, has more self esteem, is able to better express himself and is more disciplined in completing his school work.  His grades have all improved from C’s, D’s and F’s to ALL A’s! The best part about being involved with Family Martial Arts at Green Valley is not only Master Durant, but also the other kids and parents that are there.  We have become a family, supporting each other, cheering on each other’s kids, talking to each other, and learning from each other.  Thank you Master Kevin Durant for creating an environment that is family based and so supportive of all of us!
